WELCOME

The Berlin Scene Meeting 2004 will be the only demo-scene Event in the area of Berlin. It will be held on Saturday, 9th of October from 3.00 p.m. til 3.am. at the C-Base / Berlin Mitte. The entrance fee will be 5 Euro.

The demoscene is a worldwide non-commercial network of creative minds involved in the making of so called 'demos'. Demos are computer generated music clips that show what kind of graphic and sound effects can really be done by using high-end computer hardware to its full potential.  ¹

We will show your favorit demo prods on a big screen. There will probably be a fun demo/mini-compo.

2004-10-08 / Timetable

Finally we made a rough time table for the evening! Additional to the tradional background demo screening we selected four demo shows your favorit masterpieces. Each block concentrates on 45 minutes  to ensure your attention.
There will also be a "Demo-quizz" and some fun compos.

2004-10-08 looking for a C64...

Important request to C64 fans:  We would like to show "second reality" by Smash-Designs  but got neither a working Commdore nor a video-capture.  So if you have a C64 and the demo, help us (pc-lamers) and bring it to the party place!

2004-10-05 / Looking forward [pixtur]

The statictics of the wish-list clearly shows that a lot of people will visit the bsm 2004! Since now there have been votes from approx 140 different ip-addresses, which lead us to careful assumptions about how many people might come. We're already preparing our demo-show and the demo-quiz. Different playback-hardware is been assembled and tested.

Although there has been minor double votes for Kassiopeia we are eager to show this production (esp. since I contributed some modelling and drawing and did not see it since Mekka 2002). Regrettably there is NO computer in our reach that can play Kassiopeia. Any suggestions either to make this production work or to get it as AVI would be appreciated.

After Evoke 2004 there is no way back for the organizers. So we replaced the dummy-page with some content.

2004-08-28 / BSM at Evoke 2004

LKCC released the official BSM-Invitation at Evoke 2004. It was ranked 4th in the demo-compo. We also spread a lot of flyers. The feedback of the party-guests were enthusiastic. A lot of people remembered the BSM 2001 and promised to come.
